So Flawless and Easy…It’s Like Cheating!

Hey, freshly-minted mosaic knitting fans!

Here’s the mosaic practice chart I promised you in the video:

Use right here, right now version:

Be sure to watch the YouTube vid above for all the “how-to” for working this chart.

And, of course, because mosaic knitting is MARTINI KNITTING, here’s my recipe:

Knicole’s Magnificent Martini recipe:

  • 2.5 oz Tanqueray Rangpur Lime Gin
  • 0.5 oz Cinzano or Noilly Pratt Vermouth (Yup. The vermouth quality matters)
  • Italian almond-stuffed olives
  • Shake gin and vermouth vigorously with ice, pour over olives into an ice cold martini glass (we keep ours in the freezer)

Now go color your world while sipping a delicious cocktail!

Keep those needles clicking,

Knicole

  1. Hi!
I’m a newbie at knitting, just finished my 3rd pr. of socks, after 2 simple shawls. Love your amazing videos and your contagious passion for knitting. May your 2025 new year be filled with lots of love, laughter, and yarn!3

  2. Newbie would like to see a 3 second look at right and wrong sides of the finished swatch so I could decide if it would work for a reversible project like a scarf. I know “real” color work looks too funky on the wrong side, but maybe this doesn’t.
Of course, I could just knit the damn swatch…

    1. Did I really not show the wrong side of any of my mosaic samples in my YouTube video? If so, that’s totally on me. It tends to look pretty good on the wrong side because the floats are very clean and consistent, as they don’t ever get “trapped.” I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it’s reversible, but definitely more attractive than “real” colorwork. 😉
